Hivemind Times Issue #71
First issue of the year coming right at you
Welcome To The Hivemind Times!
Hey there, Graydon here hehe. We are so back.
Charging into the New Year with fresh gym memberships and new smoking habits, 2026 is primed to be the best year of Hivemind yet and I guarantee that. Sure I started out getting the super flu and we “lost” Riley for a week but hey, we aren’t gonna let that stop us.
We bonked ya on the head with a landmarks tier list this week - bet ya liked that didn’t ya?! I’m gonna need you all to keep your lil eyeballs peeled open because we have some classic year end stuff coming to a YouTube near you, as well as some stuff frankly that's never been done before.
Enjoy the first edition of the Hivemind times in 2026 baby and may all your dreams come true.

Banish bad ads for good
Your site, your ad choices.
Don’t let intrusive ads ruin the experience for the audience you've worked hard to build.
With Google AdSense, you can ensure only the ads you want appear on your site, making it the strongest and most compelling option.
Don’t just take our word for it. DIY Eule, one of Germany’s largest sewing content creators says, “With Google AdSense, I can customize the placement, amount, and layout of ads on my site.”
Google AdSense gives you full control to customize exactly where you want ads—and where you don't. Use the powerful controls to designate ad-free zones, ensuring a positive user experience.

CRONK’S UPDATE
Hello Hivemind people
I have sailed the seven seas, and gotten into a car accident since the last time we caught up.
Throughout this year I have shared my interest of buying a van in this newsletter, which I actually did in September and spent October touring in it, opening for Quadeca while playing drums for Rozey.
Then in November I spent some time in LA, got back, took my beloved van on an excursion to Caleb Peter’s house to make music and play GameCube, we had a great time, and on the way back to my house on a free way deep in Detroit, I felt a slam. I looked into my driver side mirror and seen a clapped out 2016 Chevy cruise slammed into the driver side quarter panel of my van.
They slammed into me so hard they couldn’t pull away and I had to guide them off the road. Tomorrow I go have an inspection on it. I plan on forcing the insurance to total it out as I don’t want to have a loan on a van that hit so bad. The back door doesn’t open and the trailer hitch is bent slightly meaning the frame was bent (a big no no). Stay tuned next week to hear about my European Quadeca excursion.

ALBUM RECS
A posthumous recording of Roy Hargrove has landed and I am beyond grateful because it contains one of my favs from live concert footage “Top of my Head”. It is always bittersweet listening to stuff like this but happy to have this EP available forever.
