RECIPES
Chinese Chicken & Broccoli

Marinade:
Soy sauce (2tps)
Shaoxing wine (2tsp)
Sugar (1tsp)
Baking soda (1/2 tsp)
Corn starch (2tsp)
Egg white (x1)
What you’ll do:
Slice 1lb of chicken into bite size pieces and marinate for ~30 minutes.
Combine sauce mixture in a bowl and stir well.
Pan sear or steam broccoli and set aside.
Pan sear chicken in neutral oil. Once the chicken is nearly fully cooked, add in the broccoli and sauce mixture. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken.
Serve with rice.
* This recipe also works very well with tofu. It can be prepared with the same marinade.
* If you don’t have shaoxing wine, you can use dry sherry or mirin
