WEEKLY PLAYLIST
You should Not smoke weed. But if you do, this is an alright playlist to roll up and blaze to.

CRONK’S CAR UPDATE
This 2000 Ford Explorer 5.0 V8 is my personal slice of heaven. In my last update, we fitted the old truck with all new shocks, control arms, calipers, pads, rotors, and a transmission valve body, and we wrapped these beautiful wheels in the cheapest rubber I could find. Prior to replacing these parts, this thing would shake on the freeway like a hurricane had hit it during the Bush administration. These part replacements have restored most of the Explorer's ride quality to OEM, though the downward spiral of car repair always has a few more spins left in it.
My main annoyance since acquiring this car is the exhaust leak coming from the passenger side manifold gasket. If we didn’t live in the rust belt, swapping this $80 manifold would be no issue, but here in Michigan, bolts break, and people get upset. There’s nothing worse than getting into a 24-year-old car with your friends after hyping up how cool it is, only to start it up and hear the blasting, disgusting sound of an exhaust leak. I have to take care of this problem soon, or everyone’s going to question my sanity.
The shop at the corner quoted $700 for this job, which made my cheeks pucker, so I’ve decided to do it myself. My life may be ruined for several weeks, and the potential threat of tetanus locking my jaw for eternity is a real possibility, but I’ve never let fear stop me. I'll be back next time to let the great people of the Hivemind newsletter know what hell's like. This is Cronk, signing off.

Arsenal vs Tottenham Post Match Review
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
This is the best day of my life. Arsenal see out Spurs away from home 1-0 thanks to a free header in the 6 yard box from EL MONSTROOO, Gabriel. I can’t lie, it was a very tense match as Spurs dominated possession, however I liked Arteta’s approach to the match. Sit deep, counter. Both sides had decent half chances throughout the match but nothing convincing until THAT Saka corner kick. Moneyball. Spurs are shit.

LOVE ADVICE WITH EDEN
Hi everyone! Finally, one of my ideas gets input into Hivemind content. I'm so happy some of you are miserable and need my help! Just a general disclaimer that I have never, nor do I have plans to know what I'm talking about. I’m literally just a 24 yr old girl.
How does one best deal with managing a Long distance relationship? What tips can improve communication and understanding between the two of us?
S Something I might actually know about! I think where long distance goes wrong for a lot of people is losing the “closeness”, and not just physically. Lots of things can make you feel close to someone without being near them. What is something you both love to do as a couple or individually and how can you do it together? Me and Graydon love to watch movies, and it sounds basic but it's a big foundation of our relationship in a lot of different ways. We use teleparty apps to watch movies together a couple nights a week and we are able to talk through them, about them, and it's almost like a date! Things like that, that I know we both love and are passionate about which we still get to share can't really be taken away by distance, so I suggest coming up with a creative way to still involve each other in your hobbies and interests🙂
Hey Eden! After getting out of a pretty rough relationship I feel like I've lost my enjoyment or interest in a lot of things I used to be passionate about and it's not in like in a “missing them” way, it just feels like I left a part of myself with them. I was wondering if you have any pointers for that? Does it just come with time or am I putting too much pressure on myself with all of this? Thank you!
If you have to wonder if you are rushing or putting too much pressure on yourself it's most often the case! I think where you're getting tripped up is in the fact that change is totally inevitable, and even if you had remained in this relationship, it's possible that your feelings towards your passions and hobbies would change anyways. The good news is it's a revolving door. You will find something else, no, many things to love, learn and be excited about. And the even better news is it won't be any credit to / will not be associated with this person you were involved with. It will just be your own thing. Don't force yourself to try and feel the way you used to feel about certain interests, instead be open to experiencing newness :)
Is it a mistake to date a co-worker?
For you? Potentially. For the rest of us who sit and gossip like it's what we are paid to do? It's glorious. You might regret it but everyone else will eat it up. You should probably decide quickly if it will be a casual one / two time thing or if they are the love of your life. Because anything in between can get messy.

RECIPES
Grilled Harvest Salsa
What you need…
Sweet and hot peppers, a variety
1 big sweet onion
1 corn cob
1 head of garlic
1-2 limes, depending on how much you like lime
Some cilantro (optional)
What you’ll do…
Go to a produce stand or farmers market please and buy a variety of sweet and hot peppers. Depending on where you’re at in the world these will vary, but for example, I bought some sweet bananas, hungarian hot wax, jalapeno, and some other mild ones. Get a big sweet onion and if you’re in the midwest, get a damn corn cob.
Grill all these things up or char them on your stove if you got a flame. I mean really blister these bastards. You can shave off the burnt skin or keep it - it's all preference.
In the meantime, wrap a head of garlic in foil and throw it in the oven for a few days or at least until you can squeeze those cloves out like mush.
Chop everything up and combine with that garlic mush. Squeeze the juice of a lime or two in there and add salt and pep (not too much salt, it’ll dry it out).
If you’re like me, add an unreal amount of cilantro but I know some of ya’ll think it tastes like soap so up to you.
If you have a jar or tupperware store it in there and this will only get better over the next few days.
