Welcome To The Hivemind Times!

My dear readers, I have returned from across the pond and I am so happy to be back in action. If I see beans on my eggs anytime soon I am going to commit some kind of serious crime.

I hope you all enjoyed the special edition CronkTimes last week but he for obvious reasons will never be doing that again.

Have you all seen the best pop songs of the 21st century bracket with our old pal Qinkus? Well if not go watch its one for the damn books. Oh and I hope everyone who can, has copped some of our newest swag - can’t wait for it to arrive in your sweaty little hands!

TRAVEL

Highlights of my UK trip

So I was in London for a couple days and then drove out to small town Wales visiting Stonehenge, Newport, and Cardiff along the way. This trip was my first time in the United Kingdom and man what a treat to travel somewhere where the people kind of speak the same language as you. What I loved about  that besides general ease of travel was being able to be funny and interact with some locals. I got a job offer in Wales to work HVAC with a guy named Paul who is a hell of a darts player, so depending on that offer, this may be it for me.

Sadly I wasn't able to see a ton of live music but I did make it to Below Stone Nest in SoHo/Chinatown London. They had a rotating group of bands that played anything from cool jazz, bosa, and neo soul. If you’re traveling there or live there and have never been I highly recommend it.

Driving on the other side of the road was pure chaos by the way and I highly recommend you try it if you are from an opposite sided driving country.

Stonehenge is not overrated in my humble opinion. Truly crazy to see something that damn old.

As I mentioned earlier I hate the beans on the breakfast plate and the overall lack of hot sauce on the damn island. But to my surprise the food overall was just wonderful pretty much everywhere I went. Shout out the Old Arcade in Cardiff for the best fish and chips I’ve ever had and shout out Wiltons in London for the best oysters I’ve ever sucked. Oh and my 3am Duckwaffle experience!

Got out to Kew Gardens on my final day in London and really enjoyed the walk around the most plant diverse place in the entire world. It's a really beautiful place and they have frozen margaritas.

Big shout out to cask ale which was a first experience for me. Big fan of Worthingtons creamers and Abbot. Madri was also enjoyed.

Overall I loved the time I spent over there. If anyone is wavering on a trip I encourage you to get out there and soak up what you can travel is the best thing you can do. Now back to work!

Enjoy some more pics from my trip!
