The professional secret to dough is out
Ever tried to make dough in your regular mixer?
The results aren’t pretty: Clumpy texture. Stodgy bread. Overheated motors.
So, how do the pros get it right?
Introducing Ooni Halo Core Spiral Mixer.
Its secret is the same dough-making technology that professional bakers have used for decades.
Until now, most spiral mixers have been industrial-sized machines with industrial-sized price tags.
They also only made dough. And that gets a no from us.
To put the same professional tech into the hands of home bakers, we rebuilt the spiral mixer — creating a mighty little machine that can whip, beat and knead to professional high standards.
CRONK’S UPDATE

Hello Friends, Cronk here and it's been a while.
Some time has passed since I left the boys to pursue music, and I'm here to tell you it's been cool, but I miss the office. Next week I'm hitting the road to play some East Coast shows. Joining me on camera and merch duties will be one of the Hivemind community's very own, Oceanowata (Parker). If you are near any of these cities, we would love to see you.

PITTSBURGH, PA 9/4 @ MR. ROBOTO PROJECT
Joining us will be a couple wonderful emo bands called Kings Blue Heron and Times New Wrestlers. Doors at 7pm, all ages, and if you come early we can smoke cigarettes in the parking lot. This will be a once in a lifetime event, huge for anyone from the Rust Belt.
BROOKLYN, NY 9/5 @ ZONE ONE IN ELSEWHERE
This show will change everything, this is my moment, the one where I make it big or lose it all. Joining us are some incredible indie artists, Christopher Emond and one of Tommy Fleeces' good friends, Heaven Slight. Doors at 7pm, ages 16+. Once again, if you come early we can smoke cigarettes in the parking lot.
WASHINGTON, DC 9/6 @ QUARRY HOUSE TAVERN
Home of the White House, I still don't understand what state the White House is in and why does it have to be white? Joining us will be my friend and collaborator Horses 2 Slaughter and an acoustic set from the wonderful Hotel Sewing Kit. It will be a riveting night of doom and despair and acoustic guitars. All ages, doors are at 8:30. If you come early we can smoke cigarettes behind or in front of the venue!
PHILADELPHIA, PA 9/7 @ BREAD BOX
Home of the cheesesteak, this show is gonna be a really really good one. This lineup is absolutely stacked. Joining us will be Ania, Dead Love Triangle, John Galm, and Madison James. Doors at 6pm, all ages. There will be crying, sobbing, and soft jams. You do not have to come early to smoke cigarettes with me at this show, we can just smoke inside here I think.
Hope to see some of you lovely folks at the shows, ask me nicely and I'll give you a Hivemind sticker.

POEM OF THE WEEK
Walt Whitman (1819-1892)
I Saw in Louisiana A Live-Oak Growing
I saw in Louisiana a live-oak growing,
All alone stood it and the moss hung down from the branches,
Without any companion it grew there uttering joyous leaves of dark green,
And its look, rude, unbending, lusty, made me think of myself,
But I wonder’d how it could utter joyous leaves standing alone there without
its friend near, for I knew I could not,
And I broke off a twig with a certain number of leaves upon it, and twined
around it a little moss,
And brought it away, and I have placed it in sight in my room,
It is not needed to remind me as of my own dear friends,
(For I believe lately I think of little else than of them,)
Yet it remains to me a curious token, it makes me think of manly love;
For all that, and though the live-oak glistens there in Louisiana solitary in a
wide flat space,
Uttering joyous leaves all its life without a friend a lover near,
I know very well I could not.
RECIPES
Chicken Caesar Salad Flatbread

Ingredients:
Flatbread (1)
Rotisserie chicken (1 cup, shredded)
Shaved parmesan (1/4 cup, plus more for topping)
Kale (1 cup, chopped)
Romaine lettuce (1 cup, chopped)
Caesar dressing (2-3 tbsp)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F. Place the flatbread on a baking sheet and top with the shredded rotisserie chicken and shaved parmesan.
Bake for about 10 minutes, or until the flatbread is crispy and the parmesan is melted.
While the flatbread is baking, chop the kale and romaine lettuce and add them to a bowl. Toss with the caesar dressing until the greens are evenly coated.
Remove the flatbread from the oven and let it cool for a minute or two. Top with the dressed salad and finish with more parmesan.
Cut into slices and serve!
Caesar Dressing
Ingredients:
Mayonnaise (2 tbsp)
Lemon juice (1 tsp)
Dijon mustard (1/4 tsp)
Worcestershire sauce (1/4 tsp)
Shaved parmesan (1 tbsp)
Garlic (1 clove, minced)
Anchovy paste (1/4 tsp)
Salt (pinch)
Black pepper (pinch)
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a small bowl and mix until well combined.
Premade caesar dressing works great if you don’t have time to make your own.
I used Atoria’s lavash flatbread, but any flatbread will work.
